The Travel Group took a 'girl's trip' to Dallas/Waco. We flew to Dallas and stayed three nights in a beautiful boutique hotel in Highland Park. If your're not familiar with Dallas - Highland Park is an upper-end location with fabulous shopping and restaurants. The SMU campus is located in Highland Park as is the Bush Library Museum. We spent one full day in Waco and visited the Magnolia District / Silos. In case you're unfamiliar with that name - that's where Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper films their HGTV show. We took 10 girls (actually women over 50) on the trip and everyone had a great time. We spent one full day in Waco - shopped the Magnolia/Silos district and ate yummy food truck fare for lunch with snacks from the bakery. Another day we toured the George Bush Library and then shopped Highland Park Village, and Northpark. The last day we were introduced to the Knox-Henderson shopping venue. All was spectacular. Many on this trip reported that they had never been on a better planned fun-filled girl's trip.
